Here is a listing of the major groupings of fire related objects, exclusive of wheeled apparatus,  in the collection.  Click on the category to see additional information and pictures. Only a small percentage of the collection is on formal exhibit.


Firemarks: Over 400 firemarks from the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. The marks date from the late 19th century to the 1960s.


Helmets: Over 350 helmets from all over the world, but mostly from the United States, Great Britain, Germany and France.


Extinguishers: Over 400 buckets, portable and wheeled extinguishers, and grenades, mostly from the United States and Great Britain.


Alarm Equipment:  A wide variety of boxes, gongs, indicators, repeaters, batteries, control panels, and related materials, mostly manufactured by Gamewell.


Arm Patches: Over 5,000 patches from all over the world.
