1901 Kernreuter Austrian Horse Drawn Pumper

The manufacturer Franz Kernreuter of Vienna built this horse drawn pumper for the volunteer fire brigade in Stutzenhofen, a small village located in northeastern Austria near the border with the Czech border.

This rig was able to pump 60 gpm. It was pulled by two horses, and was operated by at least six firefighters.

Here at The Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting, we have an international collection of fire apparatus and memorabilia.
